How it works

Sort once. After that, it mostly looks after itself.

Bank feed in, categories out

Import a statement or connect a feed. Sort a transaction once and RooTax treats the same merchant the same way from then on. Personal and business sit side by side, and a shared bill can be split so only your share counts.

GST and BAS, worked out

Every sorted line carries its GST. Each quarter shows what you collected, what you paid, and what you'll owe or get back, ready to copy into your BAS.

Tax return ready before June

Deductions build up through the year with the receipt attached to the bank line it belongs to. Tax withheld from your pay is tracked against what you'll actually owe, so the refund estimate is the real one.

Your numbers stay on your computer.
